9,630 people living with HIV or AIDS in Miami-Dade County were served by the Ryan White Program in 2008 at a cost of $21,317,435.
Services provided by the Ryan White Program include case management, medical and dental care, substance abuse treatment,
transportation assistance and more.
As the official planning council for HIV/AIDS services in Miami-Dade
County, the Miami-Dade HIV/AIDS Partnership is
responsible for determining service priorities and allocation of funds.
People Living With HIV/AIDS, care givers, health care professionals,
government officials and other community members
are working toward the Partnership′s vision:
To eliminate disparities and improve health outcomes
for all people living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS.

A reputation of honesty, integrity and community service
The knowledge, skills and expertise relevant to the position for which you are applying or in the field of expertise you wish to represent
At least five (5) hours per month dedication to Partnership and committee activities
Residency and proof of registered voter status in Miami-Dade County
Not serving on any other board, agency or advisory
board created by or funded by the Miami-Dade County
Board of County Commissioners
A criminal background check conducted by the Office of the Mayor of Miami-Dade County, and compliance with any other federal, state and local requirements, including completion of an annual financial disclosure to the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections Office

Representative Co-Infected with Hepatitis B or C from the Affected Community
Representative of a Federally Recognized Indian Tribe Represented in the Affected Community
Former Inmate of a Local, State or Federal Prison Released from the Custody of the Penal System During the Preceding Three (3) Years and HIV Positive at the Date of Release, or a Representative of HIV Positive Incarcerated Persons
