Research Ad-Hoc Committee


Attention all HIV/AIDS Researchers! The Partnership is recruiting researchers to present their scientific findings to the community and members of the Partnership at their monthly meetings.
 
Effective April 12, 2010, the Strategic Planning Committee has assumed responsibility for the work of the Research Ad-Hoc Committee:
  • Integrate research findings into HIV/AIDS community planning and priority-setting activities
  • Provide opportunities for researchers to share results of scientific findings or HIV intervention strategies with the community
  • Assist researchers in understanding Miami′s diverse community and the unique needs of People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) to aid in developing new research or clinical trials
  • Encourage development of new HIV/AIDS research projects and/or clinical trials
  • Facilitate linkages between researchers and individual organizations, clinics, PLWHAs, and other community representatives to disseminate information about the availability of current research or clinical trial opportunities in Miami-Dade County
